OIL CHANGE TIPS
Do you need to be home for a mobile oil change?
No. As long as we can reach the vehicle and open the hood, you can be at work, inside the house or out running errands. Most of our customers never see us. They just get a text when it's done.
What we need from you
- Access to the hood. Leave the keys in an agreed spot or leave the vehicle unlocked. Some cars need the key inside to open the hood or reset the oil life monitor.
- A spot we can work in. A driveway, a parking space or a lot. Reasonably level ground makes the job quicker.
- Notes on anything unusual. A gate code, which car it is, or that the dog is in the backyard. You can add these when you book.
What happens while you're gone
We put a spill mat down, change the oil and filter, top off fluids, check tires, brakes and battery, and scan for codes and recalls. We take the old oil and filter with us, so there's nothing left behind. The visit usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour.
How you know it's done
You get a text with what we did, what we found and when you're due next. If anything needs attention, you'll see photos and our notes. We only do oil changes, so if something needs a repair, we refer you to a trusted local shop. Nothing extra happens to your vehicle without your OK.
