OIL CHANGE TIPS
Is a mobile oil change safe for your driveway?
Yes. We set up so that oil never touches your driveway, and we leave with everything we brought, including the old oil and filter.
How we protect your driveway
- Spill mat first. Before anything is loosened, a mat goes down under the work area.
- Closed draining. Old oil drains into a container, not onto the ground.
- Careful with the filter. Filters drip when they come off, so they go straight into a container.
- Wipe-down. We wipe up drips around the filter and drain plug before we close the hood.
Where the old oil goes
We take the used oil and filter with us for recycling. Used motor oil can be re-refined and reused, and it should never go in the trash or down a storm drain.
HOAs and apartment communities
Some HOAs and apartment communities have rules about vehicle maintenance on the property. It's worth checking yours before you book. If there's a better place for us to work, like a designated parking area, add it to your booking notes.
What if something does drip?
That's what the mat is for. We check the work area before we leave, and if you ever spot anything afterward, call or text us at (803) 440-7443.
Clean in, clean out. Mobile oil changes in Lexington, Irmo, West Columbia, Cayce, Chapin and Red Bank, with the old oil and filter hauled away every time.
